CSR UK Social Responsibility: Operation Christmas Child

In the Cambridge Office, they supported a charity called “Operation Christmas Child” run by the charity Samaritans Purse. The idea was to fill a shoe box with Christmas gifts for young children in countries where they would not otherwise receive anything at Christmas. There’s a sticker to attach to the box that indicates whether it’s for a boy or girl and the age group and there’s also a list of the type of things that can be included in the shoebox. A contribution of £2.50 covers postage and when paid on the website you get a barcode to attach to the box which lets the charity confirm to you where the box ends up.
CSR thought it would be a great thing to do as a team for Christmas. The team put together and sent off 23 boxes!
